Our Story

In response to the July 2nd and 3rd, 2023 mass shooting in Kingsessing, the Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center provides a safe healing space. Those impacted can access resources to build resilience and well-being. Using strengths-based methods, trauma-informed care, and understanding ongoing positive adaptation, we aim to support survivors, families, first responders, and the community.

By offering resilience navigation, service coordination, behavioral health support, and community connection in a compassionate environment, we walk alongside those affected, reducing trauma's burden and nurturing inherent strength. Together, we honor those lost and changed through our commitment to support, heal, and build a resilient community.
