Executive Director
Tim Massaquoi is an executive leader with more than a decade of experience in counseling, mental health, youth services, and program development. He is a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Eastern University, an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Change at Cabrini University.
A retired NFL player with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills, Mr. Massaquoi serves as Executive Director of The Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center and operates a regional private therapy practice. His clinical approach includes Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. He has previously held senior leadership roles as Clinical Director at The Ladipo Group and Program Director at Youth Emergency Service.
Mr. Massaquoi also serves on multiple advisory boards, including the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative and Healthy News Works, and was recently nominated to the NFL Retired Players Mental Health Advisory Board.

Outreach and Engagement Coordinator
Alexis Noland is a seasoned nonprofit and human services leader with over 20 years of experience in behavioral health, regulatory compliance, grant management, and board development across Philadelphia and surrounding counties. She holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University and a Master of Legal Studies in Healthcare and Human Resources Compliance from Drexel University.
Ms. Noland serves as Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center, where she leads trauma-informed, community-based initiatives supporting healing and recovery in Southwest Philadelphia. She also serves as Community Engagement Chair for the MacArthur Safety and Justice Community Advisory Committee for the City of Philadelphia and as President of the Belfield Recreation Center Advisory Council, advancing equity-focused public safety, violence prevention, and community revitalization efforts.

Resilience Navigator
Naeemah Johnson serves as the Resilience Navigator for the Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center (KHCRC) and is a lifelong Philadelphia native committed to community healing and victim advocacy. Her lived experience informs a compassionate, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered approach to service.
Ms. Johnson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Pan-African Studies from Arcadia University and a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix. She has served as a middle school social studies educator with Mastery Charter School, KIPP Charter School, and McDaniel Elementary School. She has also been actively engaged in community service since adolescence through fundraising initiatives and church-based youth leadership.
Most recently, Ms. Johnson co-authored a memoir that achieved Amazon bestseller status, offering an empowering and reflective perspective on women’s journeys into womanhood. At KHCRC, she integrates her background in education, restorative practices, and advocacy to support survivors, strengthen community connections, and advance healing-centered engagement in the Kingsessing community.

Grief Support Specialist | Ordained Deacon & Minister | Facilitator | Advocate for Social Justice
As a Grief Support Specialist at the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia, Steve is deeply committed to helping individuals navigate the complex journey of grief, particularly those impacted by violence. His approach is rooted in a passion for social justice, community healing, and the belief in the transformative power of compassion.
He holds a certificate in Grief Support from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and facilitates grief workshops and support groups, including a men’s grief group, where he provides a safe space for men to express their emotions and find strength in solidarity. One of his proudest achievements is creating The SuperHero’s Journey: Conversations on Grief, a unique presentation that blends the world of comic books with grief support, offering fans a meaningful way to connect with their loss.
In addition to Steve’s professional work, he serves as an ordained deacon and minister at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, where he has been actively involved in the men’s ministry, and currently assists with the Audio/Visual and Health ministries. His role as a father and husband continues to inspire him to lead with compassion and integrity in every aspect of my life.
Previously, Steve worked as a Floor Director at NBC10, where he remained calm under pressure, coordinating live broadcasts during breaking news events and ensuring smooth communication with anchors. This experience has reinforced his belief in the importance of clear and compassionate communication in times of crisis.
Whether in professional work or community roles, Steve is dedicated to helping others heal, grow, and find hope, using every opportunity to exemplify compassion in action.

Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow
Jordan Burton serves as a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at Kingsessing Heals Community Resilience Center. In this role, he is working to develop a comprehensive, culturally responsive evaluation framework for the organization’s Community Resilience Model, to measure key mental wellness and healing indicators in Southwest Philadelphia.
Additionally, Jordan is a preacher, writer, and theologian who explores the intersections of Black religion, critical theory, and public life. His perspective is informed by grassroots ministry, academic study, and a commitment to communal healing. He draws from a range of influences—from the landscape of sustainable farms fighting for food justice to the theoretical insights of the Black Radical Tradition—to reflect on spirit, memory, and meaning in a fractured world. He writes and preaches with a deep concern for how faith shapes identity, memory, and liberation in the lives of Black communities.
Jordan holds a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Wheaton College and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.

Wellness & Data Consultant
Jamilah is a Philadelphia-based certified yoga instructor, wellness practitioner, data consultant, and serial entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of healing, creativity, and community impact. A graduate of Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Security and Risk Analysis, Jamilah has built a dynamic career that blends analytical expertise with holistic wellness practices.
In 2012, she founded Loving Soul Yoga, a traveling wellness practice dedicated to making yoga accessible, culturally relevant, and deeply transformative. Through her work, Jamilah offers a wide range of modalities including Chair Yoga, Yoni Yoga, Kemetic Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga—creating inclusive spaces for people of all ages and abilities. Her teaching philosophy centers on raising collective vibration through intentional movement, breathwork, and stillness, with a strong emphasis on mental health and emotional well-being.
Professionally, Jamilah also serves as a wellness and data consultant, where she supports community-based organizations in designing impactful programs and using data to tell meaningful stories. Her ability to merge compassion with strategy allows her to help organizations strengthen their services while staying rooted in the needs of the communities they serve.
A multifaceted entrepreneur, Jamilah manages and cultivates several purpose-driven brands, including Loving Soul Yoga, Sips by Sage, Slime by Sage, Queen of Green Apothecary, Queen of Green Garden Care, The Kink Easy, and Digital Designs & Some. Through these ventures, she expresses her passion for wellness, creativity, natural living, and accessible design—offering products, services, and experiences that nourish both individuals and communities.
Above all, Jamilah is a devoted mother whose personal and professional life are guided by intention, resilience, and love. Whether she is teaching, designing, consulting, or creating, her mission remains the same: to inspire healing, empower growth, and raise vibrations—one breath, one idea, and one connection at a time.
